Hideaki KUSANO

Hideaki KUSANO is a Japanese anime director, writer, and producer. He is best known for his work on the Major baseball anime series. KUSANO was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1962. He studied animation at the Osaka University of Arts. After graduating, he worked as an animator for several anime studios, including Sunrise and Toei Animation. In 1994, KUSANO made his directorial debut with the anime series Major. The series was a critical and commercial success, and it ran for six seasons from 1994 to 2008.
